About Me

I am a self-taught artist who enjoys the beauty of nature

The exhilaration of observing others enjoy my creations provides a large amount of motivation.

Living in as well as visiting around the world such as Sante Fe, New York, Taiwan, China and Canada have influenced my art.

Owning a landscaping business for a number of years has contributed to my talents. The effects of cultures from around the world along with the experience on my travels have been absorbed into the artistic style I create for my clients.

Sultan Fountains is creating natural works of art to accent your home, office, garden or landscape. Each individual piece is handmade by the artist Strider Sultan. All sculptures and water features are made using natural stone boulders and can be integrated with stainless steel, brass or bronze. Natural stone like jade, granite, jasper, basalt and other types can enhance any project depending on your needs.

A water fountain is a landscape idea that creates a relaxing, soothing retreat in your own backyard, a tranquil haven to let go of the days' stresses. Each water fountain is individually made and constructed from high quality materials to give you years of long lasting enjoyment. Delivered to your door. Installation is simple. Ongoing care is minimal.

Strider Sultan is the stone whisperer. We were initially so impressed by his smaller sculptures- which are quite large- we decided to commission one of our own. Strider’s enthusiasm in the search for a unique stone was such a joy. For us, he chose an 11 x 4 foot boulder, from a quarry in Arizona. He sent us videos and photos from the quarry and from his outdoor studio. He shared small glimpses of the process which, like his other sculptures, requires ingenuity, problem solving and technical prowess. We now have the honor of celebrating this piece of earth, respectfully manipulated to bring forth a delicate sheet of water which trickles and brings tranquility to our desert courtyard

Working with Strider was an amazing experience. I first saw his workshop while driving by and was captivated by his sculptures and fountains. Upon contacting him, he promptly scheduled an appointment to visit my home and understand my vision for enhancing my backyard. His creative ideas persuaded me to relocate my fountain for better visibility and sound enjoyment. Throughout the process, Strider welcomed me to his workshop for progress updates, and on the installation day, he ensured everything ran smoothly and did a stellar job setting it up. Over two years later, the fountain remains the centerpiece of our backyard, bringing joy to both us and our visitors.
